Research work:

M.Phil. Thesis title: “factors affecting the feeding pattern of infants from birth to six months in Jaffna Municipal Council area”

Currently supervising (initial stage) a post graduate (M.Phil.) study on “Quality of Life among elders in Jaffna”

Reviewer for research papers for the ‘25th annual session of Jaffna Science association” in 2018 and “Jaffna University International research Conference (JUICE) in 2018.

Supervised more than 30 undergraduate students in nursing research project.

Obtained a Research Training Fellowship for Developing Country Scientist (RTF-DCS), awarded by the Indian Government for the year of 2014/15. Project title was “Factors contributing to teenage pregnancies and adverse reproductive outcome in Sri Lanka”
